Time to see some indigenous Australian life, that won’t run or hop away, bite you or avoid you. In fact, something that will sit on a branch and steadfastly stay asleep more or less whatever you do to it ! Cue Koala Bears ....... at the Sanctuary in the West Pennant Hills.
Then onto a spot of lunch at an Italian Patisserie (Tiramisu almost as good as Walters), and then on for a tour of the Olympic Village and stadium. The aquatic centre really makes you realise why the UK will never compete with Australia at water sports - we can’t even get close to these sorts of facilities.
