Sails in the Desert and Uluru

Up and out today, back to the airport courtesy of Steve Drummond and back on Qantas to Uluru Airport and the sails in the Desert Hotel. A balmy 40 degrees centigrade here, with a humidity of only 15%. You can feel the liquid being baked out of you as you stand on the runway (no air conditioned bridges into the terminal here).

Tonight we had the Uluru at sunset trip - starting at 1800 hrs - on Northern territory time, which is 90 minutes behind Sydney. Talk about jet lag problems - at least getting up early isn’t a problem already being on Sydney time... or so we thought.
