Drive from Nelson to Franz Josef - another day of rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, fog, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, etc. We did find a nice place to eat on arrival so that sort of made up for the weather, well, almost. The only places we visited en route were the Pancake rocks and the seal sanctuary at Cape Foulwind. We also managed to get hold of a couple of very nice things for mementos which are a bit unusual.
