Turfed out of bed early to watch the cruise ship sail in up to the Statue of Liberty, we berthed at Brooklyn cruise terminal as the sun came up to blue skies and a biting cold wind.

 

We went  for a short coach tour and then onto Pier 17 for an hours trip on the Zephyr up the North river/Hudson river and back via the Statue of Liberty.
