Going batty for more reasons than one. I will never complain again about the choice of camera equipment in the UK. Its easy to forget the size of the UK population, and how well served we are for shops, technology and the like. It is practically impossible to get a high-end lens for a Nikon camera in Sydney at this time of year, without being told it will take tow months to arrive. Rant over ........ I should have one tomorrow with luck at a nice shop opening specially for me :0

Today was wandering in the Botanical gardens for lunch, after a fruitless quest for a new lens. And speaking of fruit, catch the video of the fruit bats living in the park, right next to the Central Business District. we remember these well as they were in the tree above us in 2002 when we camped at Mrs MacQuaries Chair from 1000 to 0030 for the fireworks. They did tell us to wear a hat all day, and not just for the sun.

Finally, a small wander around the Opera House area and Circular Quay area.
