Easy flight from Heathrow on the evening of the 9th - we both managed to get some sleep so it wasn’t too bad on arrival in Singapore just after sunset. It appears I have been here at this hotel before - it was previously the Westin Stamford, home of the Compass Rose restaurant (now called Equinox) and the nearest hotel to the Exhibition Centre where Communicasia 96 was held when I worked for Marconi.
